1. Privacy at a Glance

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you use LagenScout, why that processing happens, and which rights you have under the GDPR.

2. Data Collection

When you access the website, the server processes technically required connection data, including your IP address, access time, requested URL, and browser information. This data is used to deliver the application, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits. Analyses you save locally remain on your own device.

3. Cookies

LagenScout only uses technically necessary storage mechanisms, for example to remember language, color theme, and analyses saved in your browser. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics services are used in the current version.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection within the scope of GDPR Articles 15 to 21. You can submit privacy-related requests to contact@lagenscout.de.

5. Third-Party Data

Map data is from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0). Depending on the selected map style, map tiles are provided by MapTiler, openstreetmap.org, or CARTO. Population data is from Kontur (CC BY 4.0). Requests to map and geocoding providers are made only to render the application and process your requested analysis.
